Ward and Julia
moved to western Colorado in 1995. They bought
mountain property and lived in an old sheep camp,
as they remodeled their home in the summers.
 They
would spend their winters in San Diego on their 40 foot
sailboat at San Diego Yacht Club. For many years,
Ward and Julia built and worked on boats before they
decided to sell and move full time to Colorado.
They bought 16 acres near the town of Montrose and sold
the mountain land. Now Ward and Julia have turned
the new property into a beautiful horse ranch where they
raise and train young colts. Ward has spent time
building another boat in their barn; this time a power
boat which they can haul to one of the many
beautiful lakes found in western Colorado. Julia,
also a real estate broker in Montrose, enjoys
finding homes and ranches for both buyers and sellers.
